First off, I appreciate feedback and take it very seriously. This business is built on reputation and I do believe that accountability is necessary for investors. This "review" is why anonymous websites are challenging on both sides of the table. For perspective, I spent 4+ years at Tinder and was the 60th employee at the company. In that time period, I had 8 different bosses, 3 CEO's, and managed many employees. I worked my butt off and walked away from the job on my own terms. The only way to survive that experience is to have a great reputation internally, which I worked hard to achieve. I very much left Tinder on my own terms and walked away from a lot of equity to pursue my own career ambitions. In terms of ghosting, I do my best to respond to every founder within a week. If that didn't happen, I apologize but I'd ask that you give more specifics. Better yet, feel free to say your name or use real examples on this site. I'm always available at jeff@chapterone.vc. One more final note that I would add to this review. At the time I left Tinder, I was one of the longest tenured employees in the company history. That doesn't happen by accident and was the result of getting through many internal challenges, working hard, and delivering business results. Feedback is genuinely appreciated and we can all improve at our jobs. I know I can get better at many, many things. But try to give real examples, otherwise this platform won't create a better ecosystem which should be the goal.
