How Well Do You Know This Investor?

Have known the investor on and off over a few years

Stay away from CDL. They will waste your time. They're extremely bureaucratic, tell startups to jump through a ton of time wasting hoops, then fire startups from the program without any warning. Their mentors and staff are highly impersonal. They like to run every interaction like a Shark Tank. Their application is deceptive. There are many many parts to it over time with many time wasting interviews. They are run by most students who just don't care about startups, are told what to do, and have no experience. The mentors also don't know what they're talking about. They dish our unsolicited "advice" having no knowledge of your business. Every interaction a startup has with them is a chance for them to cut you from the program. It is an antagonistic, hostile, and fruitless experience.
