Get ready for a reality check. Roy is someone with a polarizing personality. The kind of northeasterner that speaks his mind and isn't afraid to ruffle feathers—even if it's another one of his contemporaries. He's been around the block, has a practical sense of worth, is 100% real in every interaction... even if you don't like what you hear. But he commands respect and I take his opinion highly. Him and the Bloomberg Beta team are a group of people I could confidently take any massive problem, where the sky is falling down, and feel in good hands no matter what. At a Pre-Seed stage, Bloomberg Beta is the type of investor most founders want. Sure, it's a check, but it can be even more if you need it. Highly recommend.
