Bloomberg Beta make a big deal of how founder first they are but in Lisa's case at least, that reputation is very well deserved. A lot of pitches I've done have been quite adversarial and with Lisa it was completely the opposite. She genuinely seemed to be doing her best to deeply understand what we were building and as a result, she asked some incredibly perceptive questions that even we hadn't thought of before. She was super honest in all of our responses and laid out her reasoning clearly in a way that was so helpful, especially compared to some investors when you have no idea what they're thinking. She ended up passing on this round but is certainly someone I would love to work with again.
