Dmitry @ Cento is one of the smartest VCs I met in SEA. Dmitry isn't 'connected' to family money or a family network so he actually had to become a VC through smarts & grit. To start-off his fund he regularly slept in his office to be available to his LPs/founders/deal-flow. When you meet with Dmitry you better come prepared to know your shit and be able to defend your assumptions with hard data if called upon. Dmitry is very fast-on-his-feet mentally and can see the angles very quickly. If you pass his 'no bullshit' filter he will go out of his way to introduce you to his network of VCs, founders and support network. Dmitry is 'smart money' and he backs up this money with strong 'value add'. He comes to quarterly/annual board meetings prepared and really has some zinger's-for-questions that will keep you on your toes. I would highly recommend you meet with Dmitry when you are raising...you either get 1) smart $$ and some really good counsel 2) he doesn't fund you but asks VERY good questions to help you hone your biz model/pitch.
